A Magnet for Backyard Birds

I enjoy feeding birds because it provides benefits – both to the birds and to myself.

It’s a joy seeing the birds visit the yard, even if for a short stay.

And in return, feeding birds help them at times when they need the most energy.

During temperature extremes, migration, and in late winter or early spring, when natural seed sources are depleted.

Just like the enthusiasm I feel to buy the latest must-have item, when I see a new bird feeder that is stylish and practical, that I know my backyard birds will love, I have to have it.

And a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird even decided to stop by and check it out.
