I was thrilled to get The World of Birds puzzle by Eurographics because it was illustrated by the great David Sibley.
And because I thrive on challenges.
I enjoy a good puzzle.
And, because I love birds.
But the greatest reward of this puzzle was enjoying Sibley’s bird drawings.
Over 100 of them.
Sibley Artwork
The puzzle features David Sibley’s drawings and is available in 2000 and 1000 pieces.
I opted for the 2000-piece puzzle.
As I poured the pieces onto my dining room table, I briefly wondered if I had made a mistake not getting the 1000 piece version.
Nope, bring it on.
It took a little help from my friends, one week later the puzzle was complete.
Even though I’m a bit of a control freak, I wasn’t sleep-deprived and was able to go about my daily life during the time I had an incomplete puzzle scattered in my dining room.
World of Birds at Your Fingertips
The best part about putting this puzzle together is that it’s just like birdwatching.
You see just fragments of birds.
A leg, part of a feather or beak helps you identify the bird species and search for pieces to complete that bird.
And build the puzzle bird by bird.
Once you get going, you won’t want to stop.
This puzzle is fun and challenging for anyone who’s into birds or loves an excellent puzzle.
And with the holidays right around the corner, it’s great for family gatherings and holiday gifting.
It’s time well spent to see the final product: a 38.25″ x 26.63″ David Sibley illustration of some of your favorite birds.
I need just three letters to describe this puzzle: WOW.
This superior quality puzzle will delight and educate at the same time.
