Drawing Inspiration From Birds

Northern Cardinals represent virtue, love, responsibility, and balance and provide great inspiration.

And we love seeing our resident Northern Cardinal we affectionately call “Big Red” in our backyard.

Barn Owls symbolize abundant creativity as well as the fantastic capacity to produce well beyond what others may do.

And they have the most adorable heart-shaped faces.

Red-tailed Hawks symbolize the inclination towards using the power of vision and intuition in your daily life.

We enjoy showing love for the smallest owl in North America, Eastern Screech Owl.

Our Screech Owl journal pays tribute to our favorite red-phase Eastern Screech Owl named Magma, a bird ambassador at Christine’s Critters in Weston, Connecticut.

There’s nothing small about Magma, and his large eyes, and excellent eyesight are useful for picking up small movements at night.

Or as a sketchbook for bird art.

And as a diary for preserving precious memories.

Each laser engraved visual journal is handmade.

It has a natural, unfinished premium baltic birch plywood cover on front and back.

The journal pages are Strathmore mixed media paper made of 100% cotton with a vellum finish and held together with durable wire binding.
